The charming harbor milieu of Haukilahti and the beautiful architectural design of the building create a unique opportunity to bring Restaurant Strindberg to Espoo’s prime location.
A new chapter in the iconic Espoo restaurant building’s history is beginning as the renowned Strindberg opens its doors on April 26th in Haukilahti. The building previously housed Sikke Sumari’s Haukilahden Helmi restaurant.
Designed by Lilli Laine, the interior of Strindberg Haukilahti creates an inviting atmosphere. Carefully selected elements respect the building’s history while incorporating the distinctive features of Strindberg.
At the new Restaurant Strindberg Haukilahti, a maritime ambiance blends with traditional Nordic culinary culture and contemporary international flavors. The menu features all the classic dishes prepared with familiar recipes. From Strindberg’s meatballs to Rydberg’s steak, with added maritime elements enhancing the flavors of other dishes on the menu.
Carefully curated wines complement the culinary experience, and a selection of high-quality champagnes and sparkling wines entice guests to enjoy the sunshine on the restaurant’s terrace. The new menu has been crafted by the experienced and respected chef, Jaakko Sorsa.
